Hi,

I understand that silverlight is not as prevalent as flash, but i would like to remind that microsoft is pushing it harder in to the market. No wonder if it comes bundled in a windows update, once it comes out of beta & I need not emphasize windows penetration.

It told me that I had to install MS Silverlight before it would play the animation. I think most people already have Flash installed, so for now, I think I'll stick with Open Flash.

I didn't forget about writing my Open Flash page, either, I plan to work on this in a couple of weeks, during my vacation.

It's supposed to warm up tomorrow, and Saturday the heat index might hit 100F.

As an aside, I recently added the origin of the term to the weather trivia on the home page.

Thanks for the comments! Weather Underground produces that video. I tried making the all day video with Weather Display, but I found it cumbersome. Weather Underground produces a smaller file size, plus I don't have to upload it.

While we are on the subject, I hope to move the RoofCam. I would like to point it at the other bird feeder. That feeder gets much more activity, plus the camera will be slightly closer to the action. It should have more area to pan, while still providing a view of the sky.

I would have already moved it, but the cable I ran for the task did not work. I must have kinked it while running it through the PVC pipe. The cable was a bear to install, so I'm not looking forward to trying it again!

And on Friday the 13th we tied a record high of 88 degrees here in Venice. With these kind of temps, is it really "spring"?
