About This Station

This PWS (Personal Weather Station) is a Davis Vantage Pro2. The ISS (Integrated Sensor Suite) sends a data packet to the console every 2 ½ seconds. The weather conditions that are the most variable (such as wind speed and direction) are updated with each packet, while most other conditions are updated every 10 seconds. Weather Display receives the data from the console, analyzes and stores the data, and updates the web pages. The current conditions are updated every 10 seconds. Weather Display also uploads the station's data to Weather Underground, which in return provides a radar screen, records and the advisory map. My web cams are Panasonic network IP cams, models BB-HCM371A and BB-HCM331A, which come with web servers, and an Internet address. A picture is uploaded to Weather Underground every 20 minutes, and they produce the all day video.
